Ballet Idaho's Family Series: Pink Martini
Through Ballet Idaho’s Family Series, an open, casual environment is provided for young families to sample a ballet performance with the dancers. This program includes excerpts and interesting information about upcoming performances. Children learn what to look for when watching the ballet and how to be respectful audience members. Afterward, children are invited on-stage for a moving experience with the characters.
Pink Martini is as hot as a band gets. Singing in seven languages, this ultimate lounge act is swinging everywhere from the Kennedy Center to Disney’s New Year’s Eve Celebration. The family series version is presented at 4 and 7 PM; the event costs $10 per person.

Discovery Center of Idaho's Under Your Skin
Ever wonder what kind of medical mysteries are going on inside of you? Wilhelm Roentgen’s discovery of X-rays in 1895 was the groundbreaking beginning of some fantastical investigations into the world beneath our skin. Under Your Skin, with hands-on exhibits, displays, and special events will put you behind the controls of medical imaging technologies to see and understand your amazing body as never before!
Various workshops will run until June 25th; click here for a complete listing and dates. General admission is $6, while children 3-12 cost $3.50. Visit DCI's web site at http://www.scidaho.org/, or call 343-9895.
For Homeschooled Teen Girls
Come join us for monthly get-togethers with other homeschooled girls twelve years of age and older. It's a great way to make friends and just hang out. Our activities and schedule vary - previous activities have included crafts, pumpkin carving, skating, and movie nights. If you're interested, please e-mail Darla at teennight2004@yahoo.com.
Presentations Group
This new homeschool group is designed to give homeschool students an opportunity to give presentations in front of a group. The program is open to all ages, and participants may choose any type of presentation: oral reports, musical performances, skits, dramatic readings, demonstrations, etc. The group will meet for presentation events on the 4th Friday afternoon of each month at 2 PM. The location is not yet firmed up, but will be in Meridian, Eagle, or Nampa. If your children are not comfortable performing, you are still welcome to come watch the presentations.
